Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Isolation of Pb(II)-reducing bacteria and demonstration of biological Pb(II) reduction to metallic Pb

Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2022
Pb(II) contamination imposes serious threats to human health and the environment. Biological reduction of Pb(II) to metallic Pb is an attractive method for the remediation of Pb(II)-contaminated water and sediments. In this study, Pb(II)-reducing microorganisms were isolated by the dilution-to-extinction (DTE) and streak-plate methods.

Adsorption of Pb(II), NTA, and Pb(II)–NTA onto TiO2

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1997
Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) is extensively used in different industries because of its excellent chelating properties. Introduction of NTA into the natural environment is a concern because of mobilization of heavy metal species that may be otherwise bound to natural particulate matter.

Nanosorbent based on coprecipitation of ZnO in goethite for competitive sorption of Cd(II)-Pb(II) and Cd(II)-Pb(II)-Ni(II) systems

Journal of Environmental Health Science and Engineering, 2023
Amongst the various water pollutants, heavy metal ions require special attention because of their toxic nature and effects on humans and the environment. Preserving natural resources will have positive impacts on living conditions by reducing diseases and water treatment by nanotechnology is effective in solving this problem owing to the properties of ...
