Arabidopsis ACBP1 overexpressors ore Pb(II)-tolerant and accumulate Pb(II)

2012
In our recent paper in the Plant Journal, we demonstrated that Arabidopsis thaliana acyl-CoA-binding protein ACBP1 binds lead [Pb(II)], its mRNA is induced by Pb(II)-treatment and transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing ACBP1 are conferred Pb(II) tolerance and accumulate Pb(II).

The sorption of metal ions on silica with covalently grafted propylthioethyleamine groups was studied. Quantitative sorption is observed at ???? 6.5 (Cu), ???? 5.5 (Pb), ???? 7 (Zn and Cd). It was stated that composition of complexes that are formed at the surface is ML (for Zn and Cd) and ML??? (for Cu and Pb). The detection limit obtained by sorption

The paper proposes the results of studies conducted in order to optimize the removal of ions Pb (II) and Cd (II) process using polyhexamethylene guanidine (PGMG) from aqueous solutions. It is observed using the methods of polarography, infrared spectroscopy, pH meters that the formation of compounds of chemisorptions type of ions of metals is putted in,

It was studied the influences of addition of protonodonor (MnO(OH)???) and protonoacceptor (Al???O?????nH???O) components on adsorption and mobility of ions Cu (II), Cd (II), Pb (II) into composite (hydr)oxides of Zr (IV), Sn (IV) and Ti (IV). It was found that increasing in ionic potential of forming metal of oxides bring to selectivity???s rising. It

Multipole Lines in the Spectra of Bi ii and Pb ii

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1964
Spectra of Bi ii and Pb ii were excited by high-frequency oscillations in a quartz discharge tube conaining the vapor of the metal in an atmosphere of helium. The following five lines, corresponding to transitions among the five lowest levels of Bi ii belonging to the 6s2 6p2 electron configuration and forbidden by the Laporte selection rule, were ...
