Thermodynamic theory of PbTiO3

Journal of Applied Physics, 1987
A phenomenological thermodynamic theory of PbTiO3 was developed using a modified Devonshire form of the elastic Gibbs free energy. The spontaneous strain as a function of temperature was determined from pure sol-gel derived PbTiO3 powder and used with selected data from the literature to determine the coefficients of the energy function.

Photocatalytic Overall Water Splitting over PbTiO3 Modulated by Oxygen Vacancy and Ferroelectric Polarization.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022
Ferroelectric materials hold great promise in the field of photocatalytic water splitting due to their spontaneous polarization that sets up an inherent internal field for the spatial separation of photogenerated charges.

Insight into the piezo-photo coupling effect of PbTiO3/CdS composites for piezo-photocatalytic hydrogen production

, 2021
The polarization field with the function in carrier separation has aroused substantial interest. For heterojunction complexes, however, the static polarization field will be inevitably shielded by a large number of carriers.

Investigation of optical and thermoelectric properties of PbTiO3 under pressure

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2021
The electronic, thermoelectric and optical properties of cubic PbTiO3 perovskite's oxides have been investigated under the variation of pressures within the frame work of DFT by using PBEsol-GGA as exchange correlation functional.
