Ion implantation in PbTiO3 films

Journal of Applied Physics, 1992
Lead titanate films prepared by the Sol-Gel process were ion implanted at various temperatures. The structural changes were examined by x-ray diffraction, and the composition distribution was studied by secondary ion mass spectra and Rutherford backscattering.

Polarization-induced selective growth of Au islands on single-domain ferroelectric PbTiO3 nanoplates with enhanced photocatalytic activity

Applications of Surface Science, 2019
In this work, heterostructured Au@PbTiO3 nanoplates were synthesized successfully via a simple hydrothermal process. It is revealed that Au islands with the size of 8–20 nm selectively deposited on the positively polarized surface of the single-crystal ...

Surface-micromachined PbTiO3 pyroelectric detectors

Applied Physics Letters, 1991
Lead titanate (PbTiO3) thin-film pyroelectric infrared detectors have been fabricated on polycrystalline silicon micromechanical membranes. Pyroelectric PbTiO3 thin films of thickness ranging from 0.2 to 0.6 μm were prepared by sol-gel spin casting techniques and deposited on 1.0-μm-thick polycrystalline silicon membranes suspended 1.0 μm above the ...
