Gastrointestinal Symptoms Associated With Sodium Bicarbonate Supplementation Protocols: A Systematic Review

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Sport Science, Volume 26, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Sodium bicarbonate positively impacts performance, but its associated gastrointestinal symptoms (GIS) may limit use. This systematic review synthesized literature that has evaluated GIS with sodium bicarbonate supplementation. Literature searches were performed from February 2024‐March 2026.

Mapping and Functional Characterization of Homologous Genes AhSUCA06 and AhSUCA16 Underlying Sucrose, Oil and Protein Contents in Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 8, Page 4844-4859, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important oilseed and cash crop, and seed sucrose content (SSC), seed oil content (SOC) and seed protein content (SPC) are key determinants of seed flavour, texture, and overall quality. Identifying quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and candidate genes associated with SSC, SOC and SPC is therefore of ...

PBW deformations of Artin–Schelter regular algebras [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2016
We consider properties and extensions of PBW deformations of Artin–Schelter regular algebras. PBW deformations in global dimension two are classified and the geometry associated to the homogenizations of these algebras is exploited to prove that all simple modules are one-dimensional in the non-PI case.

ORE AND GOLDIE THEOREMS FOR SKEW PBW EXTENSIONS [PDF]

open access: yesAsian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2013
Many rings and algebras arising in quantum mechanics can be interpreted as skew Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt (PBW) extensions. Indeed, Weyl algebras, enveloping algebras of finite-dimensional Lie algebras (and its quantization), Artamonov quantum polynomials, diffusion algebras, Manin algebra of quantum matrices, among many others, are examples of skew PBW ...

Driving pressure-guided ventilation decreases the mechanical power compared to predicted body weight-guided ventilation in the Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

open access: yesCritical Care, 2022
Background Whether targeting the driving pressure (∆P) when adjusting the tidal volume in mechanically ventilated patients with the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) may decrease the risk of ventilator-induced lung injury remains a matter of ...
