Transport PCE network function virtualization [PDF]

open access: yes2014 The European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC), 2014
We propose a Transport PCE architecture to deploy a Transport PCE by means of Network Function Virtualization. Virtual PCEs are deployed on demand, but they are perceived as a single Virtualized Network Function. We present the benefits by experimental validation.

Perchloroethylene (PCE) oxidation by percarbonate in Fe2+-catalyzed aqueous solution: PCE performance and its removal mechanism

open access: yesChemosphere, 2015
The performance of Fe2+-catalyzed sodium percarbonate (SPC) stimulating the oxidation of perchloroethylene (PCE) in groundwater remediation was investigated. The experimental results showed that PCE could be completely oxidized in 5min at 20°C with a Fe2+

The Path Computation Element (PCE)

open access: yes, 2015
The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has promoted the Path Computation Element (PCE) architecture to provide effective network resource utilization while guaranteeing advanced Internet applications with adequate quality of service (QoS). The PCE is a dedicated network entity devoted to path computation.

Effect of PCE anionic charge density on fly ash cementitious system-PCE compatibility

open access: yesJournal of Adhesion Science and Technology
In this study, the compatibility of polycarboxylate-based water-reducing admixtures (PCEs) with cementitious systems containing fly ash (FA) was investigated. For this purpose, PCEs with carboxylate, phosphate, and sulfonate anionic groups having different anionic charge densities were synthesized.

THE REPUBLICAN PERIOD FROM THE SPANISH COMMUNIST EXILE POINT OF VIEW [PDF]

open access: yesЛатиноамериканский исторический альманах, 2021
This article analyzes how the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) interpreted the Republican period from a double point of view. The PCE fought against the Republic because considered a bourgeois republic that had to be destroyed by a workers' revolution that

The implementation of Water Alternating (WAG) injection to obtain optimum recovery in Cornea Field, Australia

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology, 2021
The Water Alternating Gas (WAG) process is a cyclic process of injecting alternating water followed by gas. The main purpose of WAG injection is to improve both macroscopic and microscopic sweep efficiency, maintaining nearly initial high pressure, slow ...

Cured alkali-activated heated clay-cellulose composites: Microstructure, effect of glass addition and performances

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 2021
The co-presence of geopolymers and cellulose in clay-based materials could improve their performances. Thus, cured NaOH-activated heated clay-cellulose (up to 10 mass%) composites were prepared, and their microstructural characteristics were investigated.

A pilot study to assess radiographer preliminary clinical evaluation (PCE) introduced for emergency department adult appendicular X-ray examinations: Comparison of trained and untrained radiographers. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Radiographers are transitioning from using "Red Dot" annotations to flag abnormal emergency X-ray images, to providing written preliminary clinical evaluation (PCE) diagnostic comments.
