Artificial Neural Network Modelling and Experimental Evaluation of Dust and Thermal Energy Impact on Monocrystalline and Polycrystalline Photovoltaic Modules

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Many environmental parameters affect the performance of solar photovoltaics (PV), such as dust and temperature. In this paper, three PV technologies have been investigated and experimentally analyzed (mono, poly, and flexible monocrystalline) in terms of

The PCI Interface for GRAPE Systems: PCI-HIB [PDF]

open access: yesPublications of the Astronomical Society of Japan, 1997
We developed a PCI interface for GRAPE systems. GRAPE (GRAvity piPE) is a special-purpose computer for gravitational N-body simulations. A GRAPE system consists of GRAPE processor boards and a host computer. GRAPE processors perform the calculation of gravitational forces between particles. The host computer performs the remaining calculations.

AUTOMATIC KAPPA ANGLE ESTIMATION FOR AIR PHOTOS BASED ON PHASE ONLY CORRELATION [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2016
The approximate value of exterior orientation parameters is needed for air photo bundle adjustment. Usually the air borne GPS/IMU can provide the initial value for the camera position and attitude angle.

Estimated Pollutant Load from Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (IPEN/CNEN-SP, BRAZIL)

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences, 2021
To quantify the pollutant load received by a water body is one necessary step to keep its original standards, irrespective to the releasing source. Thus, to monitor and control the amount of pollutants released in a water body assures the water will ...

Prediction and evaluation of photovoltaic-thermal energy systems production using artificial neural network and experimental dataset

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2021
Photovoltaic/thermal (PV/T) systems combine two collectors, which increase efficiency, reduce cost and space, and produce electricity and heat, simultaneously. Many factors affect PV/T current, voltage, power, efficiency, and heat energy production.
