How to Avoid Tunnel Convergence of Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Lateral Collateral Ligament/Posterolateral Corner Sockets in Multiligament Knee Reconstructions

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Tunnel convergence in multiligament knee surgery remains a technical challenge. Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) femoral sockets/tunnels and lateral collateral ligament (LCL) femoral sockets/tunnels during anatomic posterolateral corner (PLC) reconstructions are particularly vulnerable to convergence. This is secondary to the limited amount of

Combined Medial Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty and Revision Allograft Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Combined medial unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with an Achilles tendon allograft offers a promising solution for young, active patients with isolated medial compartment osteoarthritis and a failed prior anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.

A Modified Arthroscopic Trans‐Septal Approach via the Figure‐to‐4 Position of the Knee

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Standard anterior and posterior portals offer limited access to pathologies in the posterior compartment of the knee. The trans‐septal portal facilitates comprehensive visualization and instrumentation in the posterolateral and posteromedial compartments.

Double‐Limbed Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction Using Knotless Femoral Fixation Technique

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract This technical note describes using knotless femoral fixation for medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction for skeletally immature patients. Using a knotless anchor for epiphyseal femoral fixation in the skeletally immature decreases the risk of irritable interference screw fixation and optimizes graft contact with host bone.

Single‐Stage Anatomic Reconstruction of Anterior Cruciate Ligament, Posterior Cruciate Ligament, Medial Collateral Ligament, and Posterolateral Corner for Multiligament Knee Injury

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Multiligament knee injuries represent rare and challenging injuries that require complex surgical management to restore stability and function. Current evidence supports anatomic single‐stage reconstructions when feasible in order to re‐establish knee kinematics and enable early rehabilitation.
