[AP-PCR and AP-PCR-SSCP analyses].

Nihon rinsho. Japanese journal of clinical medicine, 1996
DNA fingerprinting by arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction (AP-PCR) is a simple and informative method to investigate genetic changes in cancers. The discovery of a mutator phenotype in hereditary non-polypotic colon cancer by the AP-PCR fingerprinting demonstrated the usefulness of this unbiased method.

DLA‐DRB1 and DLA‐DQB1 histocompatibility typing by PCR‐SSCP and sequencing

Tissue Antigens, 1998
Abstract: The dog has been an important model for solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for over 30 years. Fundamental to the continuing usage of the model is the development of molecular‐based histocompatibility typing of donors and recipients.

Extensive Diversity of the ADRB3 Gene in Chinese Sheep Identified by PCR-SSCP

Biochemical Genetics, 2009
The beta(3)-adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) is the main mediator of the lipolytic and thermogenic effects of high catecholamine concentrations. Polymorphism in the ovine ADRB3 gene has been reported to be associated with birth weight, growth rate, carcass composition, and cold survival.

[HLA-DQB2 genotypes analyzed by PCR/SSCP method].

Nihon hoigaku zasshi = The Japanese journal of legal medicine, 1996
When the PCR products amplified by the primers prepared at the 11th HLA Workshop (DQBAMP-A, DQBAMP-B) were analyzed directly by the SSCP method, one or two pairs of characteristic bands were detected other than those attributed to DQB1, and a total of three kind of paired bands were detected.

[PCR SSCP study of an echovirus 30 meningitis outbreak].

Pathologie-biologie, 1999
Between April and October 1997, 21 children of 4 days to 13 years old were admitted to the Pedatric Unit of Aulnay Sous Bois's Hospital for viral meningitidis. The number of white blood cells in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was between 1 and 612 cells/mm3, with, on an average, 56% of segmented cells, 34% lymphocytes and 34% monocytes.

[PCR/SSCP used as a complementary method for HLA oligotyping].

Hunan yi ke da xue xue bao = Hunan yike daxue xuebao = Bulletin of Hunan Medical University, 2001
Seventy samples randomly selected from Hunan Han nationality normal individuals were typed for HLA DPA1 polymorphism by PCR/SSO with the primers and SSOs. Silver staining PCR/SSCP was also performed on the polymorphic second exon of all samples, which demonstrated the accurate gene frequencies of DPA1*01,02 to be 0.2632 and 0.7327, respectively.
