Magnetic Resonance Imaging Features of Intravascular Osteosarcoma Affecting the Ventral Internal Vertebral Venous Plexus Causing Cervical Myelopathy in a Dog

open access: yesVeterinary Radiology &Ultrasound, Volume 67, Issue 4, July 2026.
ABSTRACT A 10.5‐year‐old male castrated Standard Poodle was referred for the evaluation of chronic C6–T2 myelopathy. MRI revealed a severe asymmetric enlargement of the ventral internal vertebral venous plexus, intervertebral/vertebral veins, and possibly the C6 basivertebral vein, with secondary mild spinal cord compression.

Depigmentation Outcomes in Pigmented Oral Lichen Planus Managed With Mycophenolate Mofetil

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Pigmented oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic, immune‐mediated mucosal disorder associated with dark black or brown discoloration secondary to the excess melanin deposition. This medical condition is often accompanied by the typical white (reticular) or red (erosive) OLP features and is refractory to conventional therapy. We report a case of

Bilateral Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Heads in Ankylosing Spondylitis Requiring Staged Total Hip Arthroplasty: A Case Report of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Challenges

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic immune‐mediated inflammatory arthropathy primarily affecting the axial skeleton but may involve peripheral joints, particularly the hips. Avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femoral head represents a severe, underrecognized complication whose pathogenesis in AS is multifactorial—encompassing disease ...

Anemia and Its Associated Factors Among Children Aged 6–23 Months in Nine Sub‐Saharan African Countries: A Multilevel Proportional Odds Model Using the Latest Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) Data

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Anemia remains highly prevalent among children aged 6–23 months in sub‐Saharan Africa. Previous estimates relied on outdated World Health Organization (WHO) hemoglobin cutoffs, which may have overestimated the burden. This study assessed anemia prevalence and associated factors using the updated 2024 WHO thresholds in nine sub ...

Identification of High‐Performing Extra‐Early Field Pea (Pisum sativum L.) Genotypes for Rice‐Rice Cropping Systems Using MGIDI and Multivariate Analysis

open access: yesLegume Science, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The development of rice–rice farming systems in South Asia necessitates extra‐early maturing legumes that can fit into short planting windows without affecting yield productivity. This 2‐year study evaluates 43 extra‐early field pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes during two consecutive years at the Pulses Research Centre (PRC), Bangladesh ...
