Characteristics, Bicharacteristics, and Geometric Singularities of Solutions of PDEs
Many physical systems are described by partial differential equations (PDEs). Determinism then requires the Cauchy problem to be well-posed. Even when the Cauchy problem is well-posed for generic Cauchy data, there may exist characteristic Cauchy data ...

Quasi‐invariance of Gaussian measures for the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation
Abstract We consider the 3d$3d$ energy critical nonlinear Schrödinger equation with data distributed according to the Gaussian measure with covariance operator (1−Δ)−s$(1-\Delta)^{-s}$, where Δ$\Delta$ is the Laplace operator and s$s$ is sufficiently large. We prove that the flow sends full measure sets to full measure sets. We also discuss some simple

Machine Learning for Maximizing the Memristivity of Single and Coupled Quantum Memristors
Machine learning (ML) methods are proposed to characterize the memristive properties of single and coupled quantum memristors. It is shown that maximizing the memristivity leads to large values in the degree of entanglement of two quantum memristors, unveiling the close relationship between quantum correlations and memory.

Partial differential equations from integrable vertex models
In this work we propose a mechanism for converting the spectral problem of vertex models transfer matrices into the solution of certain linear partial differential equations.

Smart Hydrogel Tactile Sensors and Systems: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT The rise of wearable electronics and intelligent robotics has created an urgent demand for tactile sensors that are soft, biocompatible, and responsive. Hydrogels, with high water content and mechanical compliance such as biological tissues, provide a unique platform for constructing next‐generation tactile sensors that mimic human skin’s ...

Abstract We study convergence problems for the intermediate long wave (ILW) equation, with the depth parameter δ>0$\delta > 0$, in the deep‐water limit (δ→∞$\delta \rightarrow \infty$) and the shallow‐water limit (δ→0$\delta \rightarrow 0$) from a statistical point of view.

Deformation Quantization in Singular Spaces
We present a method of quantizing analytic spaces $X$ immersed in an arbitrary smooth ambient manifold $M$. Remarkably our approach can be applied to singular spaces. We begin by quantizing the cotangent bundle of the manifold $M$. Using a super-manifold

ABSTRACT Severe COVID‐19 cases are often characterised by a hyperinflammatory cytokine storm, which leads to immune dysregulation and increased mortality. Simultaneously, opportunistic fungal infections such as mucormycosis have been increasingly reported, especially in immunocompromised individuals.

Glimpse on the relationship between Feynman integral and integrable system [PDF]
We briefly review recent attempts to relate the concept of Feynman integral and integrable systems. This constitutes an endeavour on our part in making the Feynman path integral into a mathematically meaningful ...
