Effect of pH Variation on Passive Film Stability and Pitting Initiation in Selectively Laser Melted AlSi7Mg Alloy

The corrosion response of SLMed AlSi7Mg in 3.5 wt.% NaCl varies strongly with pH. Near‐neutral conditions (pH 6) favor the formation of a stable, protective passive film, while acidic and alkaline environments disrupt passivation, resulting in pitting, and predominantly uniform corrosion, respectively.

Inter‐Material Transfer Learning for Accelerated Nanofluid Heat Transfer Prediction: A Machine Learning Approach for Energy Systems
