Reduksi Peak-To-Average Power Ratio Pada Sistem STBC MIMO-OFDM Dengan Metode Selected Mapping Dan Partial Transmit Sequence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Teknik OFDM merupakan teknik multicarrier yang mengefisienkan bandwidth. Penggunaan teknik OFDM dapat mengatasi multipath fading dan intersymbol interference (ISI).

Spectral Orbits and Peak-to-Average Power Ratio of Boolean Functions with respect to the {I,H,N}^n Transform

open access: yes, 2005
We enumerate the inequivalent self-dual additive codes over GF(4) of blocklength n, thereby extending the sequence A090899 in The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences from n = 9 to n = 12.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

A Multistage Method for SCMA Codebook Design Based on MDS Codes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Sparse Code Multiple Access (SCMA) has been recently proposed for the future generation of wireless communication standards. SCMA system design involves specifying several parameters.

New peak-to-average power-ratio reduction algorithms for multicarrier communications [PDF]

open access: yes2003 IEEE Pacific Rim Conference on Communications Computers and Signal Processing (PACRIM 2003) (Cat No 03CH37490) PACRIM-03, 2003
Two new peak-to-average power-ratio (PAPR) reduction algorithms for passband multicarrier systems are deduced by applying optimization to modulation constellations. The associated optimization problem can be solved by two different methods, namely, the second-order cone programming method and the least-pth unconstrained optimization method.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

OFDM systems design using harmonic wavelets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) is a popular multi-carrier technique used in many digital communication systems such as wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), long term evolution (LTE) and power line communication systems.

Peak-to-Average Power Ratio Reduction of FBMC/OQAM Signal Using a Joint Optimization Scheme

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
Owing to the signal structure difference between the filter bank multicarrier with offset quadrature amplitude modulation (FBMC/OQAM) and the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, the existing technologies to reduce the peak-to ...

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
