Peak to Average Power Ratio Reduction of OFDM Signal
2005 Annual IEEE India Conference - Indicon, 2006High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signal is a major drawback of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). In Selective Mapping (SLM) technique, input data is multiplied with different number of phase sequences prior to OFDM modulation. The OFDM sequence with lowest PAPR is selected and transmitted.

Analysis of the Peak-To-Average Power Ratio for OFDM/OQAM
2006 IEEE 7th Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications, 2006OFDM/OQAM is now a recognized alternative to conventional OFDM for the transmission of signals over multipath fading channels. Indeed with OFDM/OQAM an appropriate pulse-shaping can be introduced to fight against time and frequency dispersion. This paper focuses on a theoretical and experimental analysis of the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) for ...

Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) Reduction in OFDM System
2006 International RF and Microwave Conference, 2006Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a special form of multi-carrier modulation which is robust against the multipath effect, Intersymbol Interference (ISI) and high spectral efficiency. However, Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is a major drawback in the system since this leads to the distortion problem in the linear devices such as ...
