Performance Analysis of MIMO Links With Non‐Isolated Active Antenna Arrays
ABSTRACT In this paper, we analyze the performance of non‐isolated active arrays in a multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) system. When ferromagnetic‐type isolators are removed in the transmitter (Tx) chains, the antenna mutual coupling will dynamically change the load impedance seen by the power amplifiers (PAs) at their outputs, which subsequently ...

Peak-to-average power ratio reduction in OFDM systems using smoothing technique [PDF]
This paper presents a new peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction technique by smoothing the power components of OFDM signals. The smoothing technique only adds a simple process to the existing OFDM signal processing.

Performance Enhancement of Indoor VLC Systems Using DPSS‐Based DCO‐GFDM Modulation
VLC is a promising solution for future wireless communication systems due to its high data rate, wide bandwidth, and enhanced security features. However, challenges such as high PAPR and OOB spectral leakage limit its performance. In this study, we propose the integration of DPSS with DCO‐GFDM to enhance the performance of indoor VLC systems.

Flexible Multi-Group Single-Carrier Modulation: Optimal Subcarrier Grouping and Rate Maximization
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) and single-carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) are two commonly adopted modulation schemes for frequency-selective channels. Compared to SC-FDE, OFDM generally achieves higher data rate, but at
