Green scheduling of control systems for peak demand reduction
Building systems such as heating, air quality control and refrigeration operate independently of each other and frequently result in temporally correlated energy demand surges. As peak power prices are 200–400 times that of the nominal rate, this uncoordinated activity is both expensive and operationally inefficient.

Effect of apartment building energy renovation on hourly power demand
Optimal energy renovations of apartment buildings in Finland have a great impact on annual energy demand. However, reduction of energy demand does not necessarily translate into similar changes in peak power demand.

PV system interconnected to the electricity grid with hourly control of energy injection
Implementing Photovoltaic Systems (SFV) Interconnected to the electrical network, the energy consumption of the network is reduced, thus the SVF is a good alternative in rates where the charge is solely for energy consumption.

Game-theoretic Approach to Electricity Retail Pricing Design for Demand Response Management in Russian Regions [PDF]
The paper evaluates present-day retail market electricity rates in Russia from the standpoint of demand response i.e., how they motivate the customers to reduce demand during critical peak periods.

Systems Modelling of the Socio-Technical Aspects of Residential Electricity Use and Network Peak Demand. [PDF]
Provision of network infrastructure to meet rising network peak demand is increasing the cost of electricity. Addressing this demand is a major imperative for Australian electricity agencies.

Demand Response Strategy of Energy Prosumer Based on Robust Optimization Through Aggregator
In this article, the optimal operation strategy for the aggregator to participate in demand response (DR) market is proposed. First, on the day before the occurrence of DR, Customer Baseline Load (CBL)-based load forecasting is performed using historical
