British Journal of Diseases of the Chest, 1966Summary One hundred and sixty men with coal-miner's pneumoconiosis were studied in two groups to ascertain whether a good correlation existed between the F.E.V. 1 and the P.E.F.R. The first group consisted of 100 miners without chronic bronchitis and the second of 60 miners with chronic bronchitis. Correlation was good in both groups.

Home Recording of Peak Expiratory Flow Rates and Perception of Asthma
Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, 1985Fourteen asthmatic children, aged 7.9 to 18.0 years (mean, 11.3 years), recorded peak expiratory flow rates three times a day at home for four weeks in an attempt to improve perception of their airway obstruction.
