An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Peak to Average Power Ratio sensor for Green Cognitve Radio
International audienceHigh Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is a critical issue in multi-standard and multi-carrier communication systems. This problem can result in large performance degradation due to the non-linearity of the High Power Amplifier ...

Design and Implementation of OFDM transmitter with Low Peak-to-Average Power Ratio
High Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) poses serious problem for the analog front end power amplifier design of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this paper, an OFDM transmitter with PAPR reduction is proposed.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Aluminum and nitride coatings are used in industry because they are hard, resist wear, and protect against oxidation. Adding boron can improve friction behavior and other properties. This study tests coatings on surfaces with different finishes. Results show smoother surfaces perform better, while rough ones wear faster, although coatings can reduce ...

A method of reducing peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR)
A method of reducing peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) systems is provided, wherein the method includes the steps of generating a matrix of random phase sequence based on interleaved formation, adding of

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.
