When dealing with the phenomenon of unexpected high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) caused by multicarrer techniques, it is rarely to find a proposed solution that addresses the most important challenges together, that are; reducing the PAPR ...

Use of data permutation to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of an OFDM signal
A set of fixed permutations is used in this paper to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAR) of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. For this technique, K - 1 interleavers are used to produce K - 1 permuted sequences from the

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Peak-to-average power ratio mitigation in quasi-orthogonal space time block coded MIMO-OFDM systems using selective mapping [PDF]
A study of a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction scheme for quasi-orthogonal spacetime block coded multi-input multi-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems based on selective mapping (SLM) is presented.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Spreading Code Design for a MC-CDMA Based GNSS Pilot Signal
MC-CDMA can represent an alternative to classical DS-CDMA for the design of GNSS ranging signals. A first requirement MC-CDMA signals must fulfill is that their generation on a satellite payload be feasible.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
