This review explores functional and responsive materials for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in sustainable smart agriculture. It examines how particulate contamination and dirt affect charge transfer and efficiency. Environmental challenges and strategies to enhance durability and responsiveness are outlined, including active functional layers ...

Fumigation of Imported Shelled Peanuts with Methyl Bromide1
Abstract Imported shelled peanuts were fumigated with methyl bromide at temperatures and dosages corresponding to quarantine-type fumigations against khapra beetles, Trogoderma granarium Everts. Samples of fumigated peanuts were analyzed independently by four laboratories for bromide residues and five laboratories conducted organoleptic ...

Three Mechanisms for Bar Thickening
We present simulations of bar-unstable stellar discs in which the bars thicken into box/peanut shapes. Detailed analysis of the evolution of each model revealed three different mechanisms for thickening the bars.

Abstract BACKGROUND Cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL) is an agro‐industrial residue from cashew production that has gained relevance due to its possibilities to generate valuable by‐products. Although lab‐scale CNSL extraction has been studied in terms of yield and energy efficiency, the effect of industrial‐scale extraction and nut pre‐treatment methods ...

Abstract The food enzyme triacylglycerol lipase (triacylglycerol acylhydrolase, EC 3.1.1.3) is produced with the genetically modified Trichoderma reseei strain AR‐822 by AB Enzymes GmbH. The genetic modifications do not give rise to safety concerns. The food enzyme is free from viable cells of the production organism and its DNA.
