Gibbs Free Energy‐Driven Li–MgF2 Composite Anodes for Stable Solid‐State Lithium Batteries
ENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.A Li–MgF2 composite anode has been engineered through a Gibbs free energy‐driven reaction of molten Li with MgF2. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of the LiF and LixMg segregated structure, the Li–MgF2|garnet interface achieves a low interfacial resistance of 8.2 Ω cm2, and the Li–MgF2|garnet|Li–MgF2 symmetric cells accomplish ultrastable cycling
