Nanosilica synthesized by the Pechini method for potential application as a catalytic support
Ceramics International, 2014Abstract The purpose of this work was to synthesize and characterize silicon oxide (SiO2) using TEOS as the source of silica to obtain a nano-ceramic material with potential for application as a catalytic support. The material, which was prepared by the Pechini method, was calcined at temperatures of 600, 700, 800 and 900 °C for 1 h.

Lithium ionic conductivity of Li7-3xFexLa3Zr2O12 ceramics by the Pechini method
Ionics, 2020Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO) with garnet structure has been acknowledged as a promising solid electrolyte for the next generation Li-ion batteries owing to its high chemical stability against Li metal and relatively high Li-ion conductivity. In this work, Li7-3xFexLa3Zr2O12 ceramics were prepared by the Pechini method.

Ethanothermal reduction to MoO2 microspheres via modified Pechini method
Journal of Crystal Growth, 2006Abstract The Pechini process was modified to provide an ethanothermal reduction route to molybdenum dioxide microspheres at ambient temperature. The effects of citric acid (CA), ethylene glycol (EG), and H2SO4 environment on the formation of molybdenum oxide (MoO2) were studied.

TiO2 Synthesis by the Pechini’s Method and Application for Diclofenac Photodegradation†
Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2020AbstractIn this work, the effect of the calcination temperature on the TiO2 synthesis using Pechini’s method was reported. The adopted calcination temperatures were 500, 600, and 700°C. XRD measurements indicated the composition of crystalline phases, and from there, the conversion of the anatase phase to rutile.

La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 Nanoparticles Synthesized via the (Pechini) Polymeric Precursor Method
Journal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism, 2012In this paper, we report the preparation of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 colossal magnetoresistance nanoparticles by means of the polymeric precursor method, at a temperature of 650 °C. Rietveld refinement of the X-ray powder diffraction spectra shows that the chemically-synthesized manganite is single-phase with the space group R3C.

Synthesis of La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 perovskites nanocrystals by Pechini sol–gel method
Materials Letters, 2013Abstract Pechini sol–gel method has been employed for the preparation of nanocrystalline La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 perovskite. The synthesis procedure was optimized by varying the calcination temperature. The results revealed the decomposition of the resin precursor and confirmed the formation of the perovskite phase starting at 600 °C with spherical morphology

Preparation of Pt thin film electrodes using the Pechini method
Materials Letters, 2006Abstract This paper presents the preparation and characterization of Pt electrodes obtained using the polymeric precursor method on Ti substrates. In the present case, this route leads to the formation of metallic platinum rather than the formation of platinum oxide.
