Macrofaunal assemblages in canyon and adjacent slope of the NW and Central Mediterranean systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Macrofaunal assemblages were studied along bathymetric transects in six canyons and four adjacent open slopes of the Mediterranean Sea. The different areas investigated were located approximately along a longitudinal gradient at similar latitudes.

open access: yes, 1978
Daily increments have been found in the shells of many fossils and current bivalve molluscs, especially Pectinids. A daily periodicity in formation of growth ridges has been found in Pecten maximus during spat life and the first two years of benthic life, but this daily periodicity does not occur all life long.

Study of the distribution and species composition of the megabenthos in the South Sea of Korea [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
