The authors report a presumably unusual bony attachment of the pectoralis minor muscle in an adult cadaver. The specimen's left pectoralis minor had no attachment to the coracoid process of the scapula but attached directly to the fibrous capsule of the glenohumeral joint.

It involved an accessory muscular slip originating from the pectoralis major and inserting onto the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the medial intermuscular septum. According to the literature this muscle is defined as chondroepitrochlearis.
