ABSTRACT Antioxidants in foods delay or prevent the oxidation of the food. Previously, synthetic antioxidants were commonly used in food formulations, but, due to safety concerns, interest in natural antioxidants has intensified. A novel microwave‐assisted drying extraction process was adopted to dry mint and coriander leaves.

M94 as a Unique Testbed for Black Hole Mass Estimates and AGN Activity at Low Luminosities
We discuss the peculiar nature of the nucleus of M94 (NGC 4736) in the context of new measurements of the broad Hα emission from HST-STIS observations.

Growth rate of cosmological perturbations at z ~ 0.1 from a new observational test
Spatial variations in the distribution of galaxy luminosities, estimated from redshifts as distance proxies, are correlated with the peculiar velocity field. Comparing these variations with the peculiar velocities inferred from galaxy redshift surveys is

ABSTRACT This review explores the impact of gravitational instability on convective heat transfer, integrating existing research results and theoretical models. Gravitational instability is vital in promoting or hindering convective actions in different systems, such as atmospheric events, ocean currents, and industrial processes.

Measuring the Hubble Constant with the Hubble Space Telescope
Ten years ago our team completed the Hubble Space Telescope Key Project on the extragalactic distance scale. Cepheids were detected in some 25 galaxies and used to calibrate four secondary distance indicators that reach out into the expansion field ...

The Curious Case of CysE: Diversity and Distribution of Serine Acetyltransferases in Bacteria
ABSTRACT Serine acetyltransferase (CysE) is a member of the left‐handed β‐helix family of acetyltransferases that catalyze the rate limiting step in de novo cysteine biosynthesis. There are two isoforms of CysE that differ in length, with the shorter isoform lacking approximately 76 amino acids at the N‐terminus of the protein from the serine ...

Clumpy Starburst in a Local Dwarf Galaxy, NGC 1522
To investigate the star-forming process in nearby dwarf galaxies, we present integral field unit observations of the star-forming dwarf galaxy NGC 1522 with the Very Large Telescope/Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer as a part of the Dwarf Galaxy Integral

Prioritized Real‐Time UAV‐Based Vessel Detection for Efficient Maritime Search
ABSTRACT Real‐time vessel detection in maritime environments is crucial for diverse applications requiring speed and accuracy. Static camera views often introduce blind spots, compromising detection efficiency. This paper proposes a novel, real‐time UAV‐based system that uses a dynamic camera control strategy to address this limitation.
