Isotope mass dependence of pedestal transport in JET H-mode plasmas

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
We present a comparative transport analysis of the isotope mass dependence in the pedestal of two pairs of deuterium/hydrogen type I ELMy H-mode discharges in JET with ITER-like wall, one characterized by the same input power, the other one by the same ...

UMPAK-UMPAK DI SITUS CANDI SANGGAR

open access: yesBerkala Arkeologi, 2009
Artifacts, such as ceramics, potteries, and 18 propstones are found in the vicinity of Chandi Sanggar. By analyzing the propstones, it turned out that they have many varieties on the size, and the technology.

Rub-Impact Detection in Rotor Systems with Pedestal Looseness Using a Nonlinearity Evaluation

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2018
In this paper, a nonlinearity evaluation is proposed in order to identify the rub-impact in rotor systems with pedestal looseness. Nonlinear mathematical models have been established for bearing-rotor systems with single pedestal looseness and pedestal ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Coordinated transient interaction of ZO‐1 and afadin is required for pedestal maturation induced by EspF from enteropathogenic Escherichia coli

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, 2019
Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) infection causes a histopathological lesion including recruitment of F‐actin beneath the attached bacteria and formation of actin‐rich pedestal‐like structures.

Testing a prediction model for the H-mode density pedestal against JET-ILW pedestals

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
The neutral ionisation model proposed by Groebner et al (2002 Phys. Plasmas 9 2134) to determine the plasma density profile in the H-mode pedestal, is extended to include charge exchange processes in the pedestal stimulated by the ideas of Mahdavi et al (

Health‐Related Social Needs in Children With Sickle Cell Disease Are Associated With Worse Health‐Related Quality of Life

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell disease (SCD) face multiple acute and chronic medical complications that may impact their quality of life as reported by patients themselves. Health‐related social needs (HRSNs), such as food and housing insecurity, are common in people with SCD, but the association between HRSNs and patient‐reported ...

Study of the effect of the pedestal density profiles on the pedestal structure in EAST

open access: yesNuclear Fusion
Additional particle control methods, such as gas puffing, may lead to changes in the ratio between the separatrix electron density and the pedestal electron density ( $n_{\text{e}}^{{\text{sep}}}/n_{\text{e}}^{{\text{ped}}}$ ), and lead to the relative ...

Pedestal Structure Model

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2012
Predictions are developed for gradients and profiles of the electron density and temperature in tokamak H-mode pedestals that are in transport quasiequilibrium. They are based on assuming paleoclassical processes provide the irreducible minimum radial plasma transport and dominate in the steep gradient regions of pedestals.

Genomic Diversity and Clinical Variability in Pediatric Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma: A Case Series

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...
