Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Pediatric Hypersomnia

Pediatric obstructive sleep apnea is a common, and underdiagnosed, sleep disorder in children. While no clear gender predominance exists, it is crucial that children suspected of sleep apnea due to nighttime snoring symptoms and/or daytime deficits and physical exam findings be evaluated with polysomnography.
