Preparation and thermoelectric properties of PEDOT:PSS coated Te nanorod/PEDOT:PSS composite films

Organic Electronics, 2019
Abstract PEDOT:PSS coated Te (PC Te) nanorod/PEDOT:PSS composite films were prepared by a drop-casting technique. H2SO4 treatment was employed to enhance thermoelectric (TE) properties of the composite films. The addition of PC Te nanorods increased both the electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient of the composite films.

Sandwich-structured PEDOT:PSS/MXene-PdAu/PEDOT:PSS film for highly sensitive detection of shikonin in lithospermum erythrorhizon

Analytica Chimica Acta, 2022
Promising electrochemical sensing platforms can be constructed by two-dimensional (2D) inorganic materials, metal nanoparticles and conducting polymers (CPs) via suitable and effective composite-structural fabrication. Herein, a sandwich-structured composite film was fabricated with MXene (Ti3C2Tx), PdAu nanoparticles and poly(3,4 ...

Three-Dimensional Inhomogeneities in PEDOT:PSS Films

The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2004
Spin-cast PEDOT/PSS film are investigated using scanning probe-based spectroscopic techniques. The films are found to consist of relatively well-conducting islands that are embedded in a less conductive matrix. A scanning-tunneling microscope-based method is developed to obtain three-dimensional conductivity images with nanometer resolution.

Performance of Si/PEDOT:PSS Hybrid Solar Cell Controlled by PEDOT:PSS Film Nanostructure

The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, 2016
A hybrid solar cell composed of a crystalline semiconductor and polymer film has attracted much attention due to numerous advantages, such as high mobility, long lifetime, and the aqueous solution processing. Recently, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the hybrid solar cell of silicon (Si) wafer and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly ...

PEDOT:PSS: Smart Infrared Rewritable Materials

Advanced Functional Materials, 2023
AbstractThermal radiation spectrum regulation plays an important role in energy and information fields. Effectively hiding targets and rendering it invisible to infrared imaging detectors are great challenges in past decades. Herein, a smart infrared rewritable and emissivity tunable polymer film is proposed based on PEDOT:PSS.

Ti/PEDOT:PSS/Ti Pressure Sensor

2019 27th Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE), 2019
This paper presents a wide dynamic range piezoresistive pressure sensor based on the conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS as the functional material. This is the first report on the PEDOT:PSS piezo-resistivity component measured in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the layer. The PEDOT:PSS layer is sandwiched between two layers of titanium.

Thermal degradation mechanisms of PEDOT:PSS

Organic Electronics, 2009
The thermal stability of thin (50 nm) PEDOT:PSS films, was investigated by dc conductivity measurements, X-ray and UV photoelectron spectroscopies as a function of heating temperature and heating time. The mechanism of electrical conductivity as a function of temperature is consistent with a hopping type carrier transport.

Nanoimprint of dehydrated PEDOT:PSS for organic photovoltaics

Nanotechnology, 2011
We demonstrate the fabrication of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) nanogratings by a dehydration-assisted nanoimprint lithographic technique. Dehydration of PEDOT:PSS increases its cohesion to protect the nanostructures formed by nanoimprinting during demolding, resulting in the formation of high quality nanogratings ...
