Impact of Stand, Site and Structural Characteristics on Stand Regeneration Planning in Pedunculate Oak Forests

open access: yesCroatian Journal of Forest Engineering, 2011
Starting from the fact that stand structure is significantly disturbed and from the assumption that all stands of pedunculate oak at forest level older than 100 years are potentially considered for stand regeneration, it is obvious that forest planning ...

RADIOCARBON INVESTIGATION OF THE PEDUNCULATE OAK OF BOTOSANA, ROMANIA [PDF]

open access: yesStudia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Chemia, 2018
The article discloses the AMS (accelerator mass spectrometry) radiocarbon dating results of the pedunculate oak of Botoşana. Four wood samples were extracted from its trunk. Five segments extracted from these samples were analyzed by AMS radiocarbon. Their radiocarbon dates were found to be between 161 ± 21 BP and 260 ± 20 BP.

Inheritance of Isozymes in Pedunculate Oak (Quercus robur L.) [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Heredity, 1996
Fourteen full-sib families of pedunculate oak (Quercus robur L.) were utilized in order to study the segregation of isozymes and to verify their mode of inheritance. Based on standard gel electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing, a total of 12 enzymes systems were analyzed in seeds, radicles (germinated seeds) and bud tissue. Tissue-specific expression
