Novel PEFC Application for Deuterium Isotope Separation [PDF]
Materials, 2017 The use of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) with a Nafion membrane for isotopic separation of deuterium (D) was investigated. Mass analysis at the cathode side indicated that D diffused through the membrane and participated in an isotope exchange reaction. Performance evaluation of PEFC stack

, 1996 Since FY1992, we have been developing PEFC technologies under NEDO`s R&D program. High power density and rapid start-up are essential requirements for transportable applications.
