Light scattering and phase behavior of Lysozyme-PEG mixtures [PDF]
Measurements of liquid-liquid phase transition temperatures (cloud points) of mixtures of a protein (lysozyme) and a polymer, poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) show that the addition of low molecular weight PEG stabilizes the mixture whereas high molecular weight PEG was destabilizing.

Stereocomplex poly(lactide) (PLA) was obtained by solution blending of linear PLLA and PDLA-PEG-PDLA. Effects of the L/D ratios, PEG block, and PDLA block on stereocomplexation of the blends are systemically discussed.

Intraoral Drug Delivery: Bridging the Gap Between Academic Research and Industrial Innovations
Intraoral drug delivery offers a promising route for systemic and localized therapies, yet challenges such as enzymatic degradation, limited permeability, and microbial interactions hinder efficacy. This figure highlights innovative strategies—mucoadhesive materials, enzyme inhibitors, and permeation enhancers—to overcome these barriers.

PCL-PEG graft copolymers with tunable amphiphilicity as efficient drug delivery systems.
The development of flexible drug delivery systems that can be tuned as a function of the drug to be delivered and of the target disease is crucial in modern medicine. For this aim, novel amphiphilic poly(ε-caprolactone)-g-poly(ethylene glycol) (PCL-g-PEG)

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

The temporary transition of macrophages from a pro‐inflammatory phenotype of macrophages (M1) to an anti‐inflammatory phenotype of macrophages (M2) is crucial for tissue repair and regeneration processes. Bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) are utilized as a “trojan horse” for specific M1 macrophage‐targeting and anti‐inflammatory drug delivery ...
