Molecular Modeling of Complex Cross-Linked Networks of PEGDA Nanogels
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2019Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-based nanogels are attractive for biomedical applications due to their biocompatibility, versatile end group chemistry, and ability to sterically shield encapsulated drug molecules. The characteristics of a hydrogel network govern the encapsulation and efficient delivery of drug molecules for a target application.

PEGDA-based photocrosslinking platform for real time cell trapping
2012 7th IEEE International Conference on Nano/Micro Engineered and Molecular Systems (NEMS), 2012Poly (ethylene glycol)-diacrylate (PEG-DA) is a commonly used material in tissue engineering. It is cross-linking via UV-initiated photopolymerization to form the PEG-DA microstructures. This paper reports the fabrication of capillary PEG-DA architectures on photopolymerizable hydrogel characteristic. In the UV-initiated photopolymerization, oxygen can

In Situ Polymerization of PEGDA Foam for Bone Defects
Volume 3: Biomedical and Biotechnology Engineering, 2015The purpose of this study is to develop a novel bone replacement using in situ polymerization of thiol-acrylate with adipose tissue derived adult stem cells (ASCs). Specifically, Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate-co-trimethylolpropane tris (3-mercaptopropionate) (PEGDA-co-TMPTMP) was synthesized with 10% Hydroxyapatite (HA) foam by an amine-catalyzed ...
