Fluorogenic Sydnones for Bioorthogonal Labeling of DNA

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Conjugates of sydnones with cyanine‐styryl dyes combine bioorthogonal reactivity with fluorogenicity. The reactivity with bicyclo[6.1.0]non‐4‐yne (BCN)‐modified DNA showed second‐order rate constants of up to k2 = 2,300 M−1s−1 and fluorescence turn‐on by one magnitude of order.

A Biosourced and Self‐Healable Polymer Electrolyte for Potassium Batteries

A biosourced lignin‐filled gel polymer electrolyte combines suppressed crystallinity, high ionic conductivity, and UPy‐driven self‐healing for potassium batteries. The optimized formulation sustains long‐term cycling with 97.5% capacity retention after 1000 cycles and preserves electrochemical operation after intentional membrane damage.
