Covalently Linked Peptides and Membrane Potential Enable CyaA Segment Translocation
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Using a newly developed Droplet Interface Bilayer‐Pipette assay, the authors show that two segments of the CyaA toxin cross membranes by distinct mechanisms. One segment translocates spontaneously, whereas the translocation of the other depends on membrane potential.
