Pelvic Resection in Bone Sarcomas
1988Between 1968 and 1986, 77 pelvic resections were performed at the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli for the treatment of primary bone tumors. There were 73 malignant tumors: 35 were low grade (all chondrosarcomas) and 38 high grade (13 chondrosarcomas, 14 Ewing’s sarcomas, 5 osteosarcomas, 3 M.F.H., 2 fibrosarcomas and 1 angiosarcoma).
