The pelvic congestion syndrome.
The Practitioner, 1976Perivulval varices appear during pregnancy and usually disappear after delivery but become more prominent with subsequent pregnancies. They may extend over the buttock and may be associated with recurrent leg varices. Some patients have extensive varices in the broad ligaments and present with the pelvic congestion syndrome.
