A 4E comparison of PEMFC‐ORC and DMFC‐ORC systems shows that PEMFC‐ORC achieves 21% higher energy efficiency, while DMFC‐ORC obtains 31% higher exergy efficiency and 57% lower levelized cost of electricity. However, DMFC‐ORC emits nearly twice the annual carbon dioxide equivalent of PEMFC‐ORC.

A novel IrSA─NiMnOx composite achieves remarkable oxygen evolution reaction performance in acidic media with an overpotential of 193 mV at 10 mA cm−2 and maintains stability for 800 h at 200 mA cm−2, which is attributed to the atomically dispersed Ir atoms and amorphous NiMnOx carriers and the lattice oxygen oxidation mechanism.
