New Polymeric Binders for the Preparation and Optimization of Pt/C‐Based Electrodes for Proton‐Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs)

This study optimizes PEMFC catalyst layers (CLs) by comparing short‐side‐chain N+125D and high‐oxygen‐permeability EIG ionomers. By analyzing ionomer–solvent interactions in water/1‐propanol mixtures through advanced physical–chemical characterization, the research ensures ink stability and homogeneous electrocatalyst distribution.
