Enhancing the Readability of Online Patient Education Materials Using Large Language Models: Cross-Sectional Study

open access: yesJournal of Medical Internet Research
BackgroundOnline accessible patient education materials (PEMs) are essential for patient empowerment. However, studies have shown that these materials often exceed the recommended sixth-grade reading level, making them difficult ...

Biogas in PEM-Brennstoffzellen

open access: yes, 2005

Reward Processing in Binge Eating and Harmful Drinking: A Systematic Review

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Binge eating and harmful drinking commonly co‐occur, which worsens the physical and psychological consequences associated with either behavior alone. Reward processing alterations have been demonstrated among individuals who engage in binge eating or harmful drinking alone; however, there is limited understanding of how different ...

Achievement of Transition Metal Chalcogenides/Oxides in Hydrogen Production by Seawater Electrolysis

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Transition metal chalcogenides (TMCs)/oxides have shown great application potential in seawater splitting for hydrogen generation due to their adjustable electronic properties, abundant active sites, and excellent catalytic performance. ABSTRACT Under the impetus of global “dual carbon” goals, green hydrogen has become a key component of the future ...

Water Electrolysis Technologies for Extraterrestrial Water Resource Conversion

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
This paper reviews four water electrolysis technologies for extraterrestrial water conversion: alkaline water electrolysis, proton exchange membrane water electrolysis, solid oxide water electrolysis, and anion exchange membrane water electrolysis. It elaborates on their mechanisms, components, and integration, highlighting challenges such as water ...

Unveiling Bubble Dynamics of Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis at Elevated Temperatures

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
This work directly visualizes bubble dynamics in a proton‐exchange membrane water electrolyzer operated at temperatures up to 120°C and pressures up to 100 bar. Elevated‐temperature operation beyond the atmospheric boiling point markedly reduces bubble coverage, leading to lower bubble‐related voltage losses and enhancing cell performance.

Freeway Performance Measurement System(PeMS), PeMS 6.5

open access: yes, 2006
PeMS 6.5 is the latest of seven task orders devoted to research, development, andmaintenance of the PeMS system. While most PeMS research grants coincide with fiscal and academic years (July-June), this project started mid-year in response to a number of feature and maintenance requests (i.e. it was too late for Pe MS 6 and too soon for PeMS 7).

Breaking the Activity–Stability Scaling in RuO2 via Single‐ and Dual‐Doping Strategies

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
Single and dual heteroatom doping redefines RuO2 for acidic oxygen evolution by synergistically tuning the electronic structure, lattice stability, and reaction pathways. Although single dopants optimize specific catalytic properties, dual dopants overcome the activity–stability trade‐off through cooperative electronic and geometric regulation ...

Unveiling Anodic Reconstruction of Electroless‐Deposited Dual‐Sided NiFeP Catalyst‐Coated Membranes for Efficient Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysis

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A rapid electroless deposition strategy enables the 15 min fabrication of dual‐sided NiFeP catalyst‐coated membranes (CCMs) for anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis. The resulting ionomer‐free CCMs offer strong membrane‐catalyst adhesion and efficient ionic transport.
