This review maps how MOFs can manage hazardous gases by combining adsorption, neutralization, and reutilization, enabling sustainable air‐pollution control. Covering chemical warfare agent simulants, SO2, NOx, NH3, H2S, and volatile organic compounds, it highlights structure‐guided strategies that boost selectivity, water tolerance, and cycling ...

A calmness condition for a general multiobjective optimization problem with equilibrium constraints is proposed. Some exact penalization properties for two classes of multiobjective penalty problems are established and shown to be equivalent to the ...

We present a fully automated Bayesian optimization (BO) protocol for the parameterization of nonbonded interactions in coarse‐grain CG force fields (BACH). Using experimental thermophysical data, we apply the protocol to a broad range of liquids, spanning linear, branched, and unsaturated hydrocarbons, esters, triglycerides, and water.

A penalization approach in shape optimization
We introduce a new approximation technique in general shape optimization problems, involving unknown/variable domains, that penalizes the given boundary condition in the cost functional.

Algorithmic Design of Disordered Networks With Arbitrary Coordination: Application to Biophotonics
Predictive Design of Disordered Networks: Disordered network‐like morphologies are abundant in nature, from cytoskeletal networks to bone structures and chalcogenide glasses. These structures are naturally hard to characterize. A new algorithmic tool extends the established Wooten–Weaire–Winer (WWW) algorithm to valencies above 4.

The incorporation of nondigested ECM and synthetic polymers into a co‐electrospinning system enables the decoupling of bioactivity and mechanical properties within a single wrap. This technique is used to develop a multifunctional bone wrap that achieves augmented membrane durability, sustained infection control, and enhanced vascularity for use in ...

Embedding variational inequalities and their generalizations into a separation scheme
When the domain of a variational inequality is given as intersection of level sets of functionals, then it is useful to introduce a separation scheme.

A Penalization-Gradient Algorithm for Variational Inequalities
This paper is concerned with the study of a penalization-gradient algorithm for solving variational inequalities, namely, find x̅∈C such that 〈Ax̅,y-x̅〉≥0 for all y∈C, where A:H→H is a single-valued operator, C is a closed convex set of a real Hilbert ...

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.
