Synthesis of Reduced Graphene Oxide Using Novel Exfoliation Technique and its Characterizations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
For processing of graphene based composite materials Graphene oxide is considered to be the main precursor. Though epitaxial growth and chemical vapor deposition techniques have been utilized to get monolayers of graphene, wet chemical process have been ...

Electrical conductivity measured in atomic carbon chains

open access: yes, 2013
The first electrical conductivity measurements of monoatomic carbon chains are reported in this study. The chains were obtained by unraveling carbon atoms from graphene ribbons while an electrical current flowed through the ribbon and, successively ...

The Use of Graphene and its Derivatives in Chemical and Biological Sensing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A chemical sensor is defined as a transducer comprised of, or coated with, a layer that responds to changes in its local chemical environment. Chemical sensors convert various forms of energy into a measurable signal.

POLARIX: a pathfinder mission of X-ray polarimetry

open access: yes, 2010
Since the birth of X-ray astronomy, spectral, spatial and timing observation improved dramatically, procuring a wealth of information on the majority of the classes of the celestial sources. Polarimetry, instead, remained basically unprobed.

Immobilization of electrochemical mediators to derivatives of a conducting polymer: toward the development of biofuel cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The goal of this project is to develop a more efficient biofuel cell with the use of mediators and modification of electrode surfaces. This project focuses on a mediator, ferroceneaceticc acid (FcAA), which is expected to assist the transfer of electrons

Voltammetric Determination of Rutin by Using Disposable Pencil Graphite Electrode

open access: yesErzincan Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi, 2019
In this study, an electrochemical method was developed for the determination of rutin. The pencil graphite electrode, a disposable and low cost electrode, showed a very good catalytic effect with the significant enhancement of the peak current compared to the glassy carbon electrode.
