Chemical Weed Control in Eggplant with Pendimethalin
Abstract Weed interference reduces garden egg productivity. Most farmers adopt highly labor-intensive and expensive manual weeding. Employing herbicides reduces manual labor requirements but herbicides known for garden egg productivity are few. The main objectives of the experiment are to assess the weed control usefulness of pendimethalin in garden ...Christian C. Obiazi +3 more

Field Dissipation of Sulfentrazone and Pendimethalin in Colorado
Weed Technology, 2012Pendimethalin and sulfentrazone are applied PRE in sunflower to control many grasses and broadleaf weeds. These herbicides have quite different physicochemical properties. Pendimethalin has a high carbon-referenced sediment partition coefficient (Koc)(17,200 L kg−1), with a low leaching potential, whereas sulfentrazone has a low Koc(43 L kg−1), with a ...

[Ecological effect of pendimethalin on soil microbe].
Huan jing ke xue= Huanjing kexue, 2002The effect of pendimethalin, a herbicide, on microbial activity in soil was studied here. The results showed that the amount of emission CO2 from three treatment of 1, 5 and 10 micrograms.g-1 of pendimethalin had no significant differences from the CK.
