Clinical Genetics, 1996Penile agenesis results from failure in the development of the genital tubercle and is rarely associated with chromosomal abnormalities. We report on an echographic prenatal diagnosis of penile agenesis associated with trisomy 13. At birth, the contour of the penile shaft and the glans could not be seen.

Prune belly syndrome with penile and urethral agenesis: Report of a case

Only 3 cases have been reported from Africa and to our knowledge none has been reported from our country Ethiopia. Viability depends on associated anomalies.
