Water‐ and oxidation‐resistant MXenes for advanced electromagnetic interference shielding applications

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Functionalized MXenes (F‐MXenes) with superior water and oxidation resistance are developed for scalable EMI shielding applications. F‐MXenes exhibit excellent stability under harsh conditions, high flexibility, and outstanding EMI shielding (52–77 dB, 5–40 μm).

The Proteome of African Spitting and Non‐Spitting Cobra Venoms and Cytotoxicity Against Pancreatic Cancer Cells

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT African cobra (Naja spp.) venom contains toxins dominated by proteins and peptides with inter‐ and intra‐specific variations. There are several FDA‐approved drugs from snake venom toxins from other regions, including South America and Asia. Profiling the proteomes of medically important African cobra venoms from different locations will aid in

Gel Containing Catechin and Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles for Protecting Root Dentin Against Erosion: An In Situ Study

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, EarlyView.
Gels containing EGCG adsorbed on mesoporous silica nanoparticles have a protective effect against dentin erosion. ABSTRACT This study evaluated the in situ anti‐erosive effect of gels containing epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate (EGCG) isolated and adsorbed on mesoporous silica nanoparticles (EGCG/MSN) on eroded dentin.

Identification of miRNA Biomarkers Associated With Staphylococcal Musculoskeletal Infections

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Musculoskeletal infections (MSKIs) pose significant challenges in orthopedic surgery. These infections are often caused by Staphylococcus aureus and S. epidermidis. Early diagnosis is crucial, as it allows prompt treatment before the infection becomes chronic and more difficult to manage.

Longitudinal In Vivo 3T MRI of Naturally Occurring Early Osteochondrosis Lesions in the Piglet Humeral Epiphyseal Cartilage and Growth Plate

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedic Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Osteochondrosis/osteochondritis dissecans (OC/OCD) is a developmental orthopedic disease primarily affecting the knee, ankle, and elbow joints of children and multiple animal species. Subclinical lesions of OC/OCD have been described, but most can be visualized only histologically in cadaveric specimens.
