A presentation of penile Mondor's disease

Mondor's disease can manifest itself in the penile dorsal vein. It is a rare complaint with a quoted incidence of 1.39%. We report a case of a 41-year-old man who has sex with men (MSM), who presented with penile swelling and painful erections following intensive and vigorous sexual activity.

Summary— Many patients with Peyronie's disease suffer severe penile curvature, impotence, and respond poorly to conservative management. Sixteen patients with intractable Peyronie's disease had surgical incision of Peyronie's plaque and insertion of semi‐rigid or inflatable penile implants.

In our center between 1992 and 1994 penile Mondor's disease (superficial dorsal penile vein thrombosis) was diagnosed in 5 patients aged 20-39 years.
