Human‐Centered Design of a Personalized Digital Health Intervention to Improve Oral Chemotherapy Adherence in Adolescents and Young Adults With Hematologic Cancers

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia/lymphoma therapy includes a maintenance phase involving daily administration of an oral chemotherapy called 6‐mercaptopurine (6‐MP). Adolescents and young adults (AYAs) exhibit lower 6‐MP adherence than younger patients, which increases their relapse risk.

Low‐value interventions to deimplement: A secondary analysis of a systematic review of low back pain clinical practice guidelines

open access: yesPM&R, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To perform a secondary review of low back pain (LBP) clinical practice guidelines (CPG) identified in a recently conducted systematic review and to synthesize and summarize low‐value recommendations as practices that may be candidates for deimplementation.

Multidimensional Evaluation in Primary Progressive Aphasia: Cognitive, Language, Swallowing, Quality of Life, Independence Status, and Depression

open access: yesSensory Neuroscience, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Given the heterogeneity of primary progressive aphasia (PPA), this study aims to illustrate its varying clinical presentations by examining the disease course and specific symptoms of an individual patient, alongside the results of a comprehensive multidimensional assessment.

Utilizing Two Electrokinetic Techniques on a Single Device for Detection of Extracellular Vesicle‐Associated Protease Activity

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Protease activity of cancer‐derived extracellular vesicles is quantified using a single microelectrode array in a microfluidic device to create two different electrokinetic‐based analyte collection mechanisms. First, dielectrophoresis is used to recover and purify EVs from plasma followed by electrophoresis to quantify protease activity using cleavable

Atomically Precise Nanoclusters as Co‐Catalysts for Light‐Activated Microswimmer Motility

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
For the first time, atomically precise gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) are used as motility catalysts for active matter microswimmers. The nanoscale precision and controlled optical activity of AuNCs are leveraged, achieving a nearly fivefold increase in displacement under ultraviolet light compared to prototypical TiO2 microswimmers.
