Urethral Stricture Associated With an Artificial Urethral Sphincter: A Case Report
ABSTRACT Introduction Artificial urinary sphincter implantation is the standard treatment for moderate‐to‐severe stress urinary incontinence in men. We report a case of urethral stricture associated with an artificial urinary sphincter in a patient who underwent urethroplasty and subsequent replacement of the implant.

Strategies for maintaining penile size following penile implant.
Loss of penile size is a common complaint that can negatively affect patient satisfaction rates following successful penile prosthetic implant surgery. The aim of this review is to describe the various strategies that have been used to maintain penile length or girth after the insertion of a penile prosthetic implant. An extensive systematic literature ...

Infrapubic approach for malleable penile implant [PDF]
Today, we find that the implant of malleable prostheses still plays a leading role in the surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction. These may involve patients for which the cosmetic advantages of inflatable devices are not as important as low cost, the easier use and less incidence of mechanical complications in the malleable implants.

eNOS transfection of adipose-derived stem cells yields bioactive nitric oxide production and improved results in vascular tissue engineering. [PDF]
This study evaluates the durability of a novel tissue engineered blood vessel (TEBV) created by seeding a natural vascular tissue scaffold (decellularized human saphenous vein allograft) with autologous adipose-derived stem cells (ASC) differentiated ...

A dECM‐based cryogel scaffold with sustained VEGF release is developed to promote angiogenesis in ischemic tissues. Fabricated from decellularized porcine urinary bladder matrix and heparin, the scaffold supports VEGF binding and prolonged release. The cryogel demonstrates enhanced angiogenic potential in vitro and in a murine hindlimb ischemia model ...
