Ferroelectrets: Recent developments

open access: yesIET Nanodielectrics, Volume 5, Issue 3-4, Page 113-124, September-December 2022., 2022
Abstract Ferroelectrets (also called piezoelectrets) are relatively young members in the family of piezo‐, pyro‐ and ferroelectric materials. They exhibit ferroic behaviour phenomenologically undistinguishable from that of traditional ferroelectrics, although the materials per se are essentially non‐polar space‐charge electrets with artificial ...

Peyronie's disease development and management in diabetic men

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 11, Issue 2, Page 372-378, February 2023., 2023
Abstract Background Peyronie's disease (PD) is a fibrosing disorder of the penis resulting in plaque formation and penile deformity that negatively affect sexual and psychosocial function of patients. The management of erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes mellitus unresponsive to phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 11, Issue 2, Page 257-269, February 2023., 2023

Penile Prosthesis in the Management of Priapism [PDF]

open access: yesUrologia Internationalis, 1989
Priapism is the abnormal persistence of erection, painful and not sexually induced. Many cases resolve spontaneously, but if it persists for a long time there is anoxic injury and fibrosis of the corporal tissues and the sequelae is impotence. The main problem with priapism is pain and the probability of a resultant impotence.
