Pentachlorophenol (PCP) hydroxylase purified from Flavobacterium sp. strain ATCC 39723 converted PCP or 2,3,5,6-tetrachlorophenol to tetrachloro-p-hydroquinone (TeCH) with the co-consumption of O2 and NADPH.
