For the territory of former Soviet Union known 3 types of genus Menaccarus Am. Serv., 1843: M. arenicola (Scholtz, 1847), M. deserticola Jak., 1900 and M. divaricatus Jak., 1877 (Derzhansky, 1994). Given new writing genus on the adult phase. Once again described all 4 types of genus Menaccarus on the adult insects.

The status of the taxon previously known as Stagonomus pusillus (H.-S.) described from Germany, is revised. Basing on study of large material from Asia, Caucasus and south-eastern Europe it is considered a subspecies of S. bipunctatus L., described from Syria. A subspecies status Stagonomus bipunctatus pusillus (H.-S.), stat. n. is established.
